Her Story

The HIVE Healing House is owned & operated by licensed acupuncturist,  Janelle Clare.  Janelle first fell in love with Chinese medicine after benefiting from acupuncture treatments herself. Having worked in allopathic medical care, she sought a medicine system based upon a holistic approach to healing. Janelle completed her four year Masters degree in Chinese medicine at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture (PIHMA).  During the last year of her program, Janelle interned in Chengdu, China at the Chendgu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has been helping people find better health thru Acupuncture since 2010.

As an intern in China, Janelle worked directly with Chinese medical doctors employing wide use of acupuncture and chinese herbal medicine with their population.  She was pleased to see that the principles of Chinese medicine are the same throughout the world and are constantly performing modern day miracles on those suffering from illness.  Upon graduation she received the Dan Bedgood Service Award for her work on behalf of the students at PIHMA. Currently she is continuing her studies in Chinese Herbology at PIHMA.

In practice, Janelle enjoys helping patients who are serious about taking back the reigns to their health by following the principles of Chinese medicine and living moderately.  She enjoys working with all types of conditions and welcomes anyone in need of therapy to visit the HIVE.

Additionally, Janelle is a certified Reconnective Healing Practioner. Reconnective Healings is an energetic frequency of light and information that can benefit anyone. This energy helps to restore deeper energetic channels of self healing and intuition.
